POLICE have stepped up patrols in and around the town centre to stamp out anti-social behaviour and burglaries.
Officers have prioritised three areas to tackle following requests at the last Warwick District Community Forum meeting.
Members of the Safer Neighbourhood Team will be present at Leyes Lane shopping precinct with at least 10 patrols during the start and end time of the schools after complaints of anti-social and intimidating behaviour.
They will also patrol ‘Black Pad’ recreational area to reduce antisocial behaviour and provide a minimum of 10 dedicated high visibility patrols on the northern and eastern side of Kenilworth following a recent spate of daytime burglaries at homes in the area.
