Coronation Street was Wednesday evening's (September 19) most-watched soap with the first appearance of Lloyd Mullaney's secret daughter, overnight figures show.
The Weatherfield drama pulled in 6.6m (31.7%) at 7.30pm on ITV1 and 298k (1.3%) on +1 as Lloyd became suspicious when he came face-to-face with Jenna.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 5.54m (28.4%) at 7pm as Rachel changed her mind about the flat, adding 252k (1.2%) on timeshift.
Hollyoaks interested 921k (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Callum was determined to catch Ally out, while E4's first look brought in 547k (2.8%) at 7pm and 166k (0.8%) on +1.
At 10pm on E4, Hollyoaks Later continued with 479k (3.0%).
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 714k (11.1%) at 1.45pm and 837k (6.1%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 740k (4.5%) at 6pm and 475k (2.7%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.15m (17.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
