TWO people from Coventry have been arrested on suspicion of theft following an appeal for information.

An 84-year-old man was withdrawing cash outside Barclays bank on Walsgrave Road on Wednesday 20 June when he had his card and cash stolen.

A 39-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were arrested from a car on Gosford Street at around 10am this morning (6 September) and are currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.
