'Coronation Street' Terry troubles take 8.2m on Monday

Coronation Street was above the 8m mark for both episodes of its double bill on Monday evening (April 30), overnight figures show.

Coronation Street pulled in 8.2m (37.8%) at 7.30pm and 114k (0.5%) on +1 as Tyrone and Kirsty took action against Terry, while 8.2m (32.5%) returned at 8.30pm and 198k (0.8%) on timeshift as the bad boy's business plans were left in tatters.

EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 7.85m (32.4%) at 8pm with the return of Mandy's mum. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 764k (3.8%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale interested 6.5m (33.1%) at 7pm with the latest developments in Ashley's storyline, while Hollyoaks grabbed 902k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 475k (2.4%) for E4's first look at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 669k (9.8%) at 1.45pm and 894k (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 742k (4.4%) at 6pm and 488k (2.6%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Just The Way You Are' - was seen by 1.55m (23.0%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
