Well, we're off to the Peak District in less than two weeks. Petrol is always expensive there; however, most important is getting there and back! I think a can will be a good idea......

The price appears to be falling down here in the south east.

Murco - £139.9 unleaded

£146.9 diesel

I filled up in case it increased again - only for it to go down by 2p !

Local Morrison's is 137.9 today!! Tesco, however, is !39.9.....Every Little Helps.....but helps whom? Even in the Peak District last week it was 138.9 and 139.9 generally. Must be something wrong - very few tourists about, maybe that was it! ;) Everybody staying at home to enjoy the drought, no doubt!! :D

I'm boycotting Morrisons until they bring back cheap beer! :fuming: It's also very hard to tell what their prices are from a distance, the signs are badly placed. (Deliberate?)

BP in the Butts Road was 140.9 (basic unleaded) and 146.9 (diesel) last night.

BP Garage (opposite Butts Park Arena) last night:

Basic unleaded: 139.9

Basic diesel: 145.9

So both down a penny!
