Sink your teeth into treats at Belgrade Theatre

Dance and music are topping the bill in Coventry this week in a series of one night specials.



Carnival du Vampires Rock will be blasting on to the stage at the Belgrade Theatre tomorrow with Steve Steinman offering some of the greatest rock anthems around as Baron Von Rockula.

Songs include We Will Rock You, Bat Out Of Hell, Highway To Hell, Sweet Child Of Mine, Devil Gate Drive, I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll and many more.

Wednesday sees Alan Mosca from hit 60s band Freddie & The Dreamers hosting The Sensational 60s Experience.



The live show unites four of the decade’s most influential bands on one stage. The Tremeloes, Herman’s Hermits, The Union Gap UK and The Dreamers will be performing some of their greatest hits including The Tremeloes’ Silence is Golden, Herman’s Hermits’ I’m Into Something Good, The Union Gap UK’s Young Girl and The Dreamers’ I’m Telling You Now.

Moscow Ballet - La Classique return to the city stage from Thursday following sell out performances last year.



They will be presenting Swan Lake, the most popular of all classical ballets.

Set to Tchaikovsky’s score, Swan Lake tells the story of Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse, and the production runs until Saturday. Box office for all shows 024 7655 3055.

The Tremeloes contains only two members of its original line-up.

The drummer is the only original member of Herman's Hermits, ie: there is no longer any 'Herman'

Union Gap UK is purely a tribute act to the US band of the same name.
