87-year-old woman has handbag snatched in Coventry

An 87-year-old woman had £250 snatched from her handbag in Coventry.

Police want to speak to two Eastern European women in connection with the cruel distraction theft.

Details of the offence which happened at Walsgrave Post Office on Wednesday, February 8, have only just been released.

Both suspects were aged in their 20s.

One was about 5ft 4ins with long black hair, and was wearing a black coat with a white collar, and a black hat.

Her accomplice was a couple of inches taller, and was wearing a black leather-type jacket with a scarf or hat around her head.
