Danny Young 'prepared to wax for DOI'

Former Coronation Street star Danny Young has said that he is willing to get his chest waxed for his stint on Dancing On Ice.


Young, who is one of the bookmakers' favourites to win the new series, claimed that he is contemplating getting the beauty work done at his mother's salon.

Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: "I think it is all about embracing everything. They said, 'What do you mind doing and what do you not mind doing?' and I said, 'I'll do whatever'. I'm going to embrace it and enjoy it."

Boyzone's Mikey Graham added: "We're going all out. We're camping it up for this show. There will be Lycra, diamonds and shaven chests. All that stuff. And that's just the girls. I believe the girls are shaving their chests? I think Gillette are sponsoring it."

Dancing On Ice returns with a special launch show on Friday at 9pm on ITV1.
