The singer, who tragically passed away aged 48 on Saturday (February 11), has seen a surge in record sales since the sad news was announced.

No less than 27 of Houston's most popular hits are expected to chart in the UK's Top 200 singles list this Sunday, according to new figures from the Official Charts Company.

The star's international smash 'I Will Always Love You' is currently at number 10, followed by 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' at 13 and 'One Moment In Time' at 25.

'My Love Is Your Love' is at 28, 'I Have Nothing' takes 30, 'Saving All My Love For You' is at 37 and 'How Will I Know' at 38.

Just outside the Top 40, 'The Greatest Love Of All' moves up to 42, 'Million Dollar Bill' is at 45 and 'It's Not Right, But It's Okay' at 48.

Over on the album chart, Houston's The Greatest Hits lands at number six, while The Essential Whitney Houston is at 59 and 1998's My Love Is Your Love at 108.

Tomorrow's Official Chart Update at 4pm will provide a further glimpse at Houston's chart placings following her death, with the final list to be confirmed on Sunday at 7pm.
