Yes they're great Rebbonk!
I went to St Mary's School so early views of that area are very familiar to me.

My friend gave me this footage. He was actually filming to record the area prior to Sky Blue Way being built.

Thanks Peter.
Ties in nicely with this thread.

Good find Peter
The opening shot is a view from Lower Ford Street at the point twhere it's joined by All Saints lane which later became Sky Blue Way.
This is Jubilee Terrace which once stood where the cameraman is standing at the beginning of the video. The view is from the direction of Sky Blue Way looking towards the junction of Lower Ford Street and Godiva Street:

This is a much older view from the corner of Godiva Street looking towards All Saints Lane which at that time was just a narrow footpath between the Humber Works and the houses in Lower Ford Street:

Just looking at the original post I realised that Riddy's Army Surplus Stores are there. There can't be many of us of a certain age that didn't visit that particular establishment.
As a kid I remember buying RAF jackets and caps from there; as a young adult the Army and RAF great coats (nice and warm!) and as an apprentice kitting myself out with a basic tool-kit. Happy days

Close-up of the Lloyds building taken before the shops on the Paynes Lane side were demolished:
The corner entrance was a poultry shop before the 1970s with dead birds hanging outside!

I remember a couple of the shops on the Paynes Lane side as I passed them twice a day on my way to/from school. One was the pet shop, another sold records. I think it was the one next to the pet shop but can't be sure?
Just out of sight around the corner in All Saints Lane (which is now Sky Blue Way) I think there was garage/petrol station which was the only reminder of the building's Humber Motor Company heritage. Again, I can't be sure as it's 47 years since I last walked down there!
