Monday night ratings: 'I'm a Celebrity' wins 8.4m for ITV1

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! lead ITV1 to primetime victory last night, according to overnight figures.



The jungle reality show grabbed 8.42m (32.5%) on Monday from 8.30pm, with a further 332k (1.6%) watching on +1. Little England preceded with 3.17m (12.5%), while Real Crime busted 1.66m (13.3%) from 10.35pm.

On BBC One, Young Apprentice fired up 3.48m (13.3%) from 9pm. Earlier that night, Inside Out was seen by 3.81m (16.2%) from 7.30pm, and Panorama won 3.06m (11.9%) from 8.30pm. A Question of Sport quizzed 2.58m (17.4%).

Heir Hunters started things off for BBC Two in the 7pm hour with 1.49m (6.4%), followed by University Challenge with 3.34m (13.2%), MasterChef: The Professionals with 2.95m (11.5%) and The Choir with 2.27m (8.7%). Never Mind the Buzzcocks drew in 1.58m (7.6%) from 10pm.

Channel 4's The British Woman on Death Row was viewed by 1.41m (5.5%) from 8pm (+1: 159k/0.6%). Digging the Great Escape had 2m (8.3%) from 9pm (+1: 245k/1.5%) and Assault on Precinct 13 rounded the night off for the channel with 549k (5.7%).

Channel 5's The Gadget Show and Charley Boorman's Extreme Frontiers attracted 823k (3.2%) from 8pm and 753k (2.9%) from 9pm respectively, while Robocop was watched by 546k (4%) from 10pm.

ITV1 won the night overall with 27.4% (+1: 0.7%), with BBC One following behind (18.3%). BBC Two took 8.63% and Channel 4 earned 5.8% (+1: 0.8%). Channel 5 ended up with 2.4%.

On the multichannels, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here Now! delivered 742k (4%) for ITV2.
