Hollyoaks put in another strong performance last night, overnight data has revealed.
The search for the heavily-pregnant Mercedes pulled in 1.4m (6.5%) for Channel 4 at 6.30pm, adding a further 133k on +1.
Nearly all stayed tuned for the aftermath, as E4's first look picked up an impressive 1.14m (5.2%) at 7pm and 189k on timeshift.
EastEnders overtook Corrie in their hotly-contested Thursday night ratings battle. 8.28m (36.5%) watched Ben leave Roxy's daughter Amy in danger at 7.30pm, while BBC Three's 10pm repeat fetched a further 768k (3.8%).
Michelle and Ciaran made a fairly lowkey return to
Coronation Street at 8.30pm. The Weatherfield serial pulled in 7.34m (29.5%) and 287k on ITV1 +1.
Emmerdale's double bill also saw a week-on-week drop. Cameron's angry outburst drew 6.79m (31%) at 7pm, then 6.61m (28.2%) tuned in to see Andy and Debbie follow through with their plan to save Sarah. 212k watched the second episode on +1.
Elsewhere,
Doctors averaged 1.59m (21%) for an episode titled 'Cuckoo' at 1.45pm, while
Neighbours' lunchtime showing had 780k (10.2%) at the same time.
The Ramsay Street soap added 1.26m (7.5%) for its teatime 5.30pm episode, after which
Home and Away logged 955k (4.8%) and 523k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look.
