Emmerdale stayed above the 6m mark on Wednesday evening as troubled teen Amy dropped her bombshell on Cain.
The rural soap attracted 6.12m (33.2%) at 7pm as Cain threatened Amy after hearing that she is expecting his baby, while a further 237k (1.2%) watched an hour later on +1.
Meanwhile, Hollyoaks pulled in 904k (5.3%) on Channel 4 at 6.30pm as Declan caught a frightening glimpse of Brendan's domestic violence issues, adding 119k (0.6%) on timeshift. Hollyoaks' first look airing, which featured Bart and Jason's surprise kiss, was seen by 421k (2.3%) on E4 and 128k (0.6%) on E4+1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours interested 654k (9.3%) at 1.45pm and 1.09m (8.2%) at 5.30pm as Kyle revealed his secret fear of public speaking, while BBC One's daytime drama Doctors took 1.33m (19.1%) at lunchtime.
