ITV1's flagship drama averaged 7.6m (32.2%) from 8.30pm, up 770k week-on-week, as James tried to make his escape after his scams were exposed. An additional 261k (1.1%) watched the episode on ITV1+1.
EastEnders appealed to 7.42m (35.4%) on BBC One from 7.30pm, as Greg discovered Tanya's contraceptive pills in her handbag. A further 970k (5%) saw BBC Three's repeat screening from 10pm.
Rural soap Emmerdale grabbed 6.06m (32.1%) on ITV1 from 7pm, as Ella warned Katie to leave Declan alone, but was left furious over her reaction. Rhona's big decision over her future after Paddy's visit was seen by 6.66m (30.3%) from 8pm and 164k (0.7%) on ITV1+1.
