Three arrested after man stabbed in Spon End

Three people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in the Spon End area of Coventry last night.



The victim, who is 45, was found in The Butts, near the Butts Retreat pub at just after 9pm last night with stab wounds to his chest and stomach.

He has since undergone emergency surgery in hospital, where his condition is described as “stable”.

Police arrested a 38-year-old man and a 48-year-0ld woman at the scene, shortly after the incident.

Another man, who is 45, was arrested at an address in Allesley at 5:15am this morning.

All three are currently being questioned by detectives.
