A woman has been bailed by police investigating the death of a 16-year old who was hit by a car which ended up in a Coventry garden.
Paramedics were called to Remembrance Road in Willenhall around 9:15pm on Saturday night but found they could not do anything to save Bradley Galvin who was discovered trapped underneath the car.
A 41-year old woman arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Inspector Nick Clark from Coventry local policing unit has urged the community to remain calm whilst the investigation takes place.
He said: “Officers from our Collision Investigation Unit are conducting a thorough investigation of the incident.
“The person that we have arrested and bailed is not resident in the area.
“This is a tragic incident which has understandably caused some upset in the community, and I would ask anybody with any information to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with information on the crash can call the Collision Investigation Unit on 0345 113 5000.
