A dog from Coventry has won a best of breed award at Crufts.
Six-year-old Lhasa Apso Elizabeth beat 166 other dogs to the title at Birmingham’s NEC at the weekend.
Her owner, retired social worker Margaret Anderson, from Tile Hill, said: “She is quite lazy but she loves everybody and there is nobody she won’t like. She can often be seen sitting on someone’s knee.
“I have been coming to Crufts for the last 30 years and I love it, and Elizabeth loved it this year as well.
“It was more me getting nervous in the main arena than her.”
