Two to enter pleas over body-in-lake murder

A man and woman will enter pleas in court today over the death of a Coventry man found dead in a lake.



39-year old Jason Bissell from Coombe Fields (pictured above) was discovered at Lanny’s Lagoon Fishery at Stretton under Fosse near Rugby in October, two days after he was reported missing.

A post-mortem found he died of head injuries.

As well as leaving behind a mother and a sister, Jason had two children.

42-year old Peter Hood from Nuneaton and Joanne Griffiths, who’s 40 and from Binley in Coventry, have both been charged with his murder and are due before Birmingham Crown Court.
