'Dangerous' tablets stolen in Nuneaton burglary

Police have issued a warning following the theft of some morphine tablets, stolen during a burglary at a house in the Hartshill area of Nuneaton.

The drugs, which had been prescribed to the householder, are 28, 40mg small yellow tablets, contained in two blister packs.

They are dangerous to anyone taking them who has not had them prescribed and, if found, should be handed in to a doctor’s surgery, pharmacy or medical centre where they can be safely destroyed.

Also taken in the burglary, on Thursday night, were a packet of Co-codamol tablets, some water tablets, a brand new coat and an ACER laptop computer.
