The hunt is on for armed men who threatened a shop worker in Brinklow with a hammer at the weekend.
They entered the Post Office on Broad Street at around 7:10am on Saturday, stealing a quantity of cigarettes and money from the till, before leaving the store and getting into a vehicle outside.
The men drove down Broad Street and then are believed to have driven towards Coventry, leaving the shop assistant shaken but uninjured.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses who saw a dark coloured vehicle, possibly a Ford, at the location before or after the robbery or saw one driving away from the location at speed.
The men are described as being in their early 20s, and were both wearing dark clothing and balaclavas or scarves over their faces.
Anyone with information’s asked to contact DC Sarah Clapham in Rugby CID on 01788 853773 (voicemail: 11720) or Crimestoppers – anonymously – on 0800 555 111.
