Man's body recovered from canal in Rugby

A man's body has been pulled out of a canal in Warwickshire.



The body was recovered from a canal near Quarry Close in Rugby with the help of a search and rescue team on Saturday morning.

Warwickshire Police said the circumstances of how the man, aged in his 30s, came to be in the canal were still being investigated.

Anyone who walked by the canal during Friday evening or Saturday morning is asked to contact police.

The incident is currently being treated as unexplained, a spokesman said.
