Dancing on Ice 2025 has announced the third elimination of the series, following a night of emotional performances.

Tonight's episode saw the celebrities returning to the rink, as they each skated to a song that held a special meaning for them. The judges scored the performances before the vote was opened to the public.

The show kicked off with Sir Steve Redgrave who performed to Bon Jovi's 'It's My Life' in a nod to his incredible Olympic career, before Dan Edgar danced to Frank Sinatra's 'Blue Moon' as a "sensational" tribute to his nan and grandad.

Mollie Pearce was inspired by her disability modelling career, performing to The Greatest Showman's 'This is Me'. Meanwhile, Sam Aston took a trip down memory lane with Corrie legend Malcolm Hebden, before dancing to 'Baba O'Riley' by The Who.

Charlie Brooks skated to Adele's 'Someone Like You', dedicating it to her daughter; and Anton Ferdinand was praised for his "perfect" tribute to his late mother, dancing to 'She's Royal' by Tarrus Riley.

In a "unique" performance, Chris Taylor danced to the Pokémon theme tune with new skating partner Robin, after his original partner Vanessa sustained a training injury.

Finally, Michaela Strachan recalled her time living in Cape Town, South Africa by skating to Shakira's 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)'.

After the combined scores and votes were counted, Sir Steve and Sam found themselves in the bottom two. But with no skate-off to save them, Sir Steve and his partner Vicky Ogden became the third elimination of the series.

Speaking about his time on the show, Sir Steve said: "I haven't enjoyed the falling over! But yeah, it's been absolutely amazing and this young lady's [Vicky] been incredible."

Elsewhere in the episode, host Holly Willoughby revealed that the skate-off format will be returning next week (February 9), giving the celebrities a chance to fight for their place in the competition.

Dancing on Ice airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
