The Nuneaton dealer was caught in Wolverhampton
A 'key supplier' of drugs across Nuneaton and Bedworth is now behind bars. A Warwick Crown Court trial judge described Manjinder Pama as a 'serious drug dealer'.
Pama, aged 43, of Shetland Drive, was found to be behind one of the biggest networks across the borough. Police raided a house in Bedworth in January and seized a mobile phone with messages asking for drugs.
Detectives traced the number to Pama and he was arrested as he left a house in Wolverhampton. A search of the house led to the seizure of a suitcase containing cocaine. A search of his car led to the seizure of £11,000 in cash.
Pama pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of criminal property. He was jailed for six years at Warwick Crown Court on Monday (September 11).
Detective Constable Dan Lydster from Nuneaton Proactive CID said: “Pama was one of the key suppliers of drugs in the area. This sentencing is terrible news for drug users in Nuneaton but an excellent outcome for the rest of the community.
“There is no place for drug dealers in our county. The likes of Pama inflict nothing but misery and suffering on people, their families, and the wider community, all for their own selfish greed.
“We will continue to relentlessly target drugs dealers and we welcome the assistance of the public in doing so. The information they pass on to us is vital.”
