Over 60 parcels have been reported 'undelivered', residents say

Residents in a Warwickshire village are furious after dozens of their Evri parcels went missing. Locals in the village of Fillongley are facing mass delays with their Evri packages with many waiting for weeks on end.

One resident said she has been waiting almost a month for her package to arrive. The resident, who doesn't wish to be named, said she is "frustrated" at the delays.

Residents reported around 60 parcels that have still yet to be delivered. Some have even had to "replace" their items after not receiving them on time, costing them more money.

One told CoventryLive: "It's been three to four weeks since I've received my parcel. There are about 60 residents that are all waiting.

"It's really frustrating as we pay for the service. Some people are having to replace their goods and it's just not right."

Residents have aired their concerns on Facebook, with many still waiting for their parcels. One concerned local asked: "Does anyone work for Evri and know why parcels are not being deliver to Fillongley?" Other residents also reported their packages missing and worry they won't receive their gifts in time for Christmas.

One said: "Anyone had any updates from Evri? I got two parcels that was meant to of (sic) been delivered last week but stuck at Evri with no updates. Are we likely to get these before Xmas as they are Xmas presents. I phoned the companies I placed the orders with but they cant really do anything apart from refund and re order but will be in same situation."

Another resident added: "Had the same issue, multiple parcels disappearing as a result of 'a major event' or a 'traffic incident'. Tried to get in touch with Evri but gave up as it's too difficult..."

Meanwhile, one said: "I’m waiting on three parcels from that haven’t been delivered since November 15. One company has sent a replacement but that hasn’t arrived either. I’m sympathetic to them being overwhelmed with Royal Mail strikes but the ‘black hole’ everything has disappeared into & not being able to contact anyone to anyone at Evri is totally unacceptable."

Some residents said their parcels have simply "disappeared". One resident commented: "I have one parcel that 'disappeared' and its replacement was due between 16:30-17:30 yesterday - but nothing appeared."

Villagers outrage as they claim 700 Evri parcels are missing

An angry resident has claimed over 700 Evri parcels have gone missing in his village - and said he has not received any packages for two months. The resident, who chooses to remain anonymous, said he had ordered several items back in November last year, some of which were supposed to be Christmas presents for family.

However, they never arrived. The resident from Fillongley had to fork out extra money to buy presents for his family after the parcels went missing.

He claims there are over 700 parcels missing in their village. Locals in Fillongley are facing mass delays with many waiting weeks on end for deliveries, it has been reported.

Speaking to CoventryLive, the resident said: "I've ordered five parcels in November and still haven't received three of them. On the website it says the parcels have been delayed but there is no further update at all on them and no contact details on the website.

"They were Christmas presents for family, so I had to end up going out to the shops and buy new presents. I eventually managed to get refunds from the distributor, but I can imagine other people may not have been able to.

"It's frustrating because when you order items you expect them to get delivered. I've only had issues with Evri.

"I'm guessing my parcels are lost and I'm never going to receive them. Some people haven't got their refunds and have missed out a lot over Christmas.

"I know the depot had 700 parcels for Fillongley where my parcels were to be delivered and now they are all lost. It is a joke and no one is doing anything about it so I want to raise some awareness of what they are getting away with."

They don't make it easy, but the following might help someone...

You can start a chat here... https://www.evri.com/help-and-support/help-centre/#/receiving/awaiting-delivery/none-of-these

This is allegedly a contact number... 0330 808 5456

However, I wouldn't waste my time. It's the sender's responsibility if you haven't received what they are contracted to deliver to you. Let them do the leg-work.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Thought I heard a knock at the door this afternoon but couldn't be sure? Looked outside and there was no sign of anyone but I noticed a neighbour's wheelie bin had been disturbed. On a hunch I looked inside and sure-enough there was a package addressed to me from Evri! :clown:
