It is part of maintenance works
Drivers are being warned that delays are possible due to a planned lane closure on the Bedworth bypass. It comes into force at 8pm on Friday, January 6, and is set to be in place until January 8.
Warwickshire County Council is behind the lane closure so that maintenance works can be carried out. This includes inspecting and servicing CCTV cameras.
Highways engineers will also clean drainage systems/gullies as well as make any repairs to street lights and cut back extensive undergrowth. The closure will also affect the nearby M6 as the M6 Junction 3 South exit and M6 Junction 3 North exit slip roads will also have to be closed while the works take place.
Once these works have been completed, there is another road closure, this time on Rye Piece Ringway in Bedworth. It will be in place during working days from January 8 to January 22, from 9am until 3pm. This is for road resurfacing and other works. Diversion routes will be put in place.
