Man 'thrown off mobility scooter and robbed at knifepoint'

A man was robbed at knifepoint and pushed off his mobility scooter in a dramatic incident in Willenhall.

Police said the victim was on Littlethorpe, Willenhall, when the terrifying attack happened just after 3.30pm yesterday (August 30).

Officers said a man was approached by the suspect, another man, who demanded money before threatening him with a knife. He then pushed the victim out of his mobility scooter. After being given some money, the suspect ran off.

Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service were called but stood down shortly after as the patient did not require medical assistance. It is understood the victim did not sustain any serious injuries from the attack.
