A robber threatened a Post Officer cashier with a knife during a terrifying robbery in Mancetter. He was joined by an accomplice during the raid at Manor Road Post Office.

Warwickshire Police say two men walked into the Post Office at around 12.15pm and, while one held the door, the other threatened the cashier with what has been described as a 'bladed article'

Frightened, the cashier handed over a quantity of cash before the two suspects left in an unknown direction. Fortunately the cashier was not injured during the incident, but was 'left shaken' by the ordeal according to a Warwickshire Police spokesman.

Now a hunt is on to find the two suspects, who have been described as white, aged somewhere between 16 and 18, around 6ft tall, of slim to medium build.

Both were wearing dark clothing. "Enquiries are currently ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time," the Warwickshire Police spokesman said.

"We would also like people who noticed anyone acting suspiciously or who saw anyone entering the post office between 12.05pm and 12.15pm on Saturday, June 189 to get in touch with us."
