He has been taken to hospital for his injuries to be treated
A man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed at a nightclub in Leamington Spa this morning.
The 23-year-old was stabbed in Altoria, Warwick Street in Leamington, shortly after midnight today and was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police are currently investigating and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "The incident took place at approximately 12.20am on the 2nd floor of the venue.
"A 23-year-old man received stab wounds and is currently in hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-changing at this time.
"If you saw this incident taking place or have any information that could assist enquiries please report this through the Warwickshire Police website or by calling 101 quoting incident number 0002 of 29 August."
