The German discounter is growing and keen to reach 1,000 outlets by 2022
Lidl has announced plans to open a store in Warwickshire as part of a huge expansion drive expected to create 2,000 new jobs nationwide.
The new store in Warwick is one of dozens the German discounter is keen to get off the ground as it aims to reach 1,000 outlets by 2022.
It's not yet clear whether the outlet will be in addition to that which is set to replace the former Homebase in Emscote Road. Aldi already has a store in Myton Road, Leamington.
