There were plenty of people out and about

Coventry's city centre was once again bustling with people this weekend on Super Saturday.

The pubs and hairdressers have re-opened following the coronavirus lockdown alongside clothes stores and other retail chains who opened a few weeks ago.

Social distancing measures have been put in place by both Coventry City Council and the businesses and many customers were following the rules, queuing outside shops and waiting to be called in.

Many were enjoying a drink down the pub with their friends, with the Flying Standard having a queue of people outside waiting to be seated.

Braving the colder July weather, people were even willing to have a drink and a chat outside.

However, it wasn't just the pubs that had queues, it seems many people had popped out for some retail therapy this weekend and many retail stores also had lines waiting outside.

The queue for Primark stretched around the entirety of the building as people waited to be called in.

West Orchards Shopping Centre was well organised as people made their way around the one-way system.
