Clean Bandit have scored a third week at UK number one with their single 'Rather Be'.

The song, which features vocals from Jess Glynne, fought off strong competition from Pharrell Williams and DJ Fresh & Jay Fay to keep hold of the top spot.

'Rather Be' has now sold an impressive 402,000 copies in just three weeks on sale. It sold 163,000 copies in its first week to achieve the biggest weekly sale for a January chart-topper since Babylon Zoo's 1996 number one 'Spaceman'.

Pharrell's 'Happy' has climbed one spot to number two on this week's UK Top 40, while DJ Fresh & Jay Fay's 'Dibby Dibby Sound', featuring Ms Dynamite, debuts at three.

will.i.am's 'Feelin' Myself', featuring Miley Cyrus, French Montana and Wiz Khalifa, drops two places to number four.

Meanwhile, Pitbull and Ke$ha complete this week's top five with 'Timber', which rises one place from last week's number six.

Gorgon City and MNEK's 'Ready For Your Love' is at six, while Katy B's 'Crying For No Reason' drops from five to seven.

OneRepublic and Alesso's 'If I Lose Myself' rises three places to number eight, while Neon Jungle spend a third week in the top ten with 'Braveheart' at nine, and Avicii's 'Hey Brother' is at ten.

Shakira and Rihanna's 'Can't Remember To Forget You' rises 23 places to number 14, while Idina Menzel's 'Let It Go' from Disney's Frozen is a non-mover at 20.

Rihanna's 'What Now' returns to the Top 40, and has climbed 32 places to number 21 after being featured on ITV's recent 'Where Drama Lives' campaign. The song originally peaked at number 35 last November.

Disclosure have scored this week's highest climber with 'F For You', which rises 118 places to number 29 following the release of a new mix featuring Mary J Blige.

Lorde's new single 'Team' - the follow-up to the chart-topping 'Royals' - enters the UK Top 40 at number 38 this week.
