Pharrell Williams has returned to the top of the UK Top 40 with 'Happy'.

The star - who originally topped the chart with the track a fortnight ago - knocks Pitbull and Ke$ha's 'Timber' off the top spot after selling 107,000 copies in the last seven days.

Pitbull and Ke$ha drop to number two with their collaboration, which became the first number one of 2014 last Sunday (January 5).

Avicii sticks at number three with his latest offering 'Hey Brother', while Jason Derulo's 'Trumpets' remains in fourth position.

Fuse ODG completes this week's top five after climbing nine places with 'Million Pound Girl (Badder Than Bad)'. The track becomes the star's highest charting UK single to date.

Ellie Goulding's 'How Long Will I Love You' drops one place to number six, while British DJ duo Matrix & Futurebound climb 11 places to number seven, securing their highest ever chart position with 'Control' featuring Max Marshall.

Eminem and Rihanna are at eight with 'The Monster' and Martin Garrix falls one place to nine with 'Animals'.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé has scored her 16th Top 10 single with 'Drunk in Love'. The Jay Z-assisted track rises 17 places to number ten on this week's countdown.

Lady Gaga is up eleven spots to number twelve with 'Do What U Want', following the release of a new version featuring Christina Aguilera.

Little Mix rise to number 14 with 'Little Me', which serves as the second single from their latest album Salute.
