Ellie Goulding keeps UK album No.1

Ellie Goulding has kept hold of the UK album number one with Halcyon.

The ‘Burn’ singer spends a second week at the top of the chart, beating BeyoncĂ©’s self-titled fifth studio album, which lands at number two this week.

Goulding’s Halcyon topped the chart for the first time last week, 65 weeks after she released the album in October 2012. She has sold 680,000 copies of the album reissue Halcyon Days since August.

Gary Barlow’s Since I Saw You Last drops one place to number three on this week’s countdown.

John Newman’s debut album Tribute and Bastille’s Bad Blood both climb one spot to number four and five respectively.

Meanwhile, US rapper Kid Ink has scored his first ever entry on the Official Albums Chart, with My Own Lane entering at number 34.
