953k (4.5%) watched at 7pm on E4 as Will's twisted behaviour culminated in a rooftop showdown with Dodger. Hollyoaks was the most-watched multichannel programme of the day and a further 261k (1.2%) caught the episode an hour later on +1.

Will's exit proved more popular on first look than the recent council flats explosion and provided the highest E4 figure since Brendan's exit in March.

Coronation Street was the most-watched soap of the day as 8.48m (38.1%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 369k (1.6%) on +1 for the latest struggles between Roy and Hayley.

Emmerdale attracted 7.11m (33.9%) at 7pm on ITV and 391k (1.7%) on +1 as Jai tried to keep Sam quiet over Archie's paternity.

On Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 625k (8.6%) at 1.45pm and 1.04m (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 238k (3.2%) at 1.15pm, 745k (4.1%) at 6pm and 488k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.74m (24.0%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
