‘Inception’ dominates US box office

Inception has topped the US box office for a third consecutive week, earning $27 million over the weekend.

Dinner For Schmucks, starring Steve Carrell, lands in second place with $23 million, while Angelina Jolie’s action thriller Salt slips to third with $19 million, followed by Despicable Me with $15 million.

Also debuting this week is the family movie Cats & Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore at number five and Zac Efron’s Charlie St. Cloud in sixth place.

Finally, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice lands in ninth place with $4 million and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse ends its run at number ten with $3 million.
