Daniel Craig’s Skyfall has debuted at number one at the US box office, earning $88m.
Also starring Judi Dench, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris, the new Bond film has broken a new box office record earlier predicted by analysts.
The film has now earned the biggest opening for a Bond movie in the US, not accounting for inflation.
