Sam Neill has been added to the star-studded cast of new thriller The Tomb.
The Alcatraz actor is set to appear alongside Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The Tomb centres on Ray Breslin (Stallone), an expert in high security prisons who is himself placed in a high-tech jail facility after being framed for a crime.
Schwarzenegger stars as Emil Rottmayer, “a complex inmate”, while Neill is set to play prison doctor Emil Kaikev.
50 Cent, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jim Caviezel, Amy Ryan and Vinnie Jones are also featured in the Mikael Hafstrom-directed film, with production under way now in New Orleans.
Neill previously starred as an FBI agent in JJ Abrams’s Alcatraz, which was recently cancelled after just one season.
