
Disney’s Tangled has overtaken the latest Harry Potter film to top the US box office with $21.5 million.
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 falls to second place, taking $16.7 million in its third weekend, followed by the Christina Aquilera musical Burlesque which rises to third and takes $6.1 million.
Denzel Washington’s Unstoppable follows in fourth place with $6.1 million, followed by the Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal romantic drama Love and Other Drugs which takes $5.7m.
The week’s only new release, The Warrior’s Way, entered the top ten at nine, taking just $3 million.
