'Dollhouse 2' DVD, Blu-ray coming October

The second and final season of Dollhouse will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray this October, reports Movieweb.

Joss Whedon's cancelled Fox sci-fi series starred Eliza Dushku as an Active, or a person who could have her memory erased and reprogrammed to serve the clients of an exclusive and illegal organisation called The Dollhouse.

The show also featured Harry Lennix, Olivia Williams, Fran Kranz, Tahmoh Penikett and Enver Gjokaj.

Season two guest stars included Patton Oswalt, Summer Glau and Felicia Day.

The four-disc DVD set will be priced at $49.98 (£32) and the three-disc Blu-ray set will be available for $59.99 (£38). Both formats will contain all 13 episodes of the final season and will be released on October 12.

Special features include deleted scenes, a gag reel, a cast roundtable discussion and a retrospective with Whedon.
