ABC has officially canceled the summer drama series after just one season. The news comes several weeks after “Grand Hotel” wrapped up its first season on the network.

Created by Brian Tanen, “Grand Hotel” focused on the professional and personal lives of the people working at a family-run hotel in Miami Beach. Its ensemble cast included Demián Bichir, Roselyn Sanchez, Denyse Tontz, Bryan Craig, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Lincoln Younes, Shalim Ortiz, Anne Winters, Chris Warren, Feliz Ramirez, Justina Adorno, and more.

The series was executive produced by Eva Longoria, alongside Ben Spector, Ramon Campos, and Teresa Fernandez-Valdes.

Throughout its first season, “Grand Hotel” averaged 0.5 live + same day rating among adults 18-49 with 2.72 million viewers. While its ratings certainly weren’t spectacular or all that impressive, the show was consistent enough for a summer series to make a second season seem like a legitimate possibility. Unfortunately for the show’s fans though, “Grand Hotel” won’t be coming back next year.
