The network has picked up a fourth season of comedy “Superstore,” meaning that three-fourths of NBC’s fall 2017 Thursday comedy block will return next season. The renewal follows earlier pickups for “Will & Grace” and “The Good Place.”

“This clever comedy, featuring America Ferrera, Ben Feldman and an incredibly talented ensemble cast, is a source of pride for the comedy team at NBC, and I’m personally gratified that it has connected with audiences and critics alike,” says Tracey Pakosta, co-president of scripted programming at NBC.

“Superstore” averages a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49 and 4.09 million viewers the night it airs. A week of delayed viewing bumps the show up to 1.7 in adults 18-49 and 5.3 million viewers, both of which are slightly ahead of last season’s average.

It also pulls in better-than-average numbers among “upscale” TV homes — those with incomes over $100,000.

Justin Spitzer created “Superstore” and executive produces with Ruben Fleischer, David Bernad, Gabe Miller and Jonathan Green. NBC’s sibling studio Universal Television produces the show.
