The comedy series will come to an end next month after four seasons on the network.

The series - which stars Lucas Neff, Martha Plimpton and Garret Dillahunt - will air its final two episodes back-to-back on Monday, April 4 between 9pm and 10pm.

Fox chairman Kevin Reilly and COO Joe Earley said: "Getting to know and love the Chance family on Raising Hope has been a sweet, hilarious ride.

"Thanks to the incredibly talented cast - along with Greg, Mike and the entire crew - for making us laugh for four fantastic seasons."

Creator Greg Garcia left the series after the third season, moving on to CBS TV Studios. He was succeeded as showrunner by Mike Mariano.

However, the show has struggled in the ratings after being moved to Friday evenings from its original Tuesday 8pm slot.

Raising Hope was recently dropped by its UK broadcaster Sky1 after two seasons.
