Do No Harm has been pulled from NBC's schedule after just two episodes.

The medical drama is a loose update of the Jekyll and Hyde story, with Steven Pasquale starring as tortured medic Dr Jason Cole and his alter ego Ian Price.

Do No Harm's debut severely underperformed, managing a score of only 0.9 (3.13m) in the 18-49 demographic at 10pm on January 31, and becoming the lowest-rated in-season premiere of any scripted show on the big networks ever.

The thriller's ratings then dropped even further for the second episode, with a 0.7.

NBC will run repeats of Law & Order: SVU in the 10pm slot on Thursdays for the next two weeks.

Watch confirmed at the end of 2012 that it had bought the rights to air Do No Harm in the UK.
