'30 Rock', 'Parenthood' renewed by NBC

NBC has renewed 30 Rock and Parenthood.



Family drama Parenthood starring Craig T Nelson will return for a fourth season of 15 episodes later this year.

30 Rock will air 13 more episodes for what has been tipped to be its final seventh season.

NBC has also ordered two new dramas for its fall schedule, including a medical series titled Do No Harm starring Steven Pasquale and Phylicia Rashad.

The Jekyll and Hyde-esque series will follow a gifted neurosurgeon who has to deal with his strange alter ego that may ruin his personal life and career.

Infamous has also been picked up by the network, which will star Victor Garber and Tate Donovan.

The drama - previously titled Notorious - focuses on a female detective who returns as an undercover agent masquerading as a maid's daughter for the wealthy family where she grew up. There, she must solve a murder of an heiress who used to be her best friend.

NBC has also renewed Law & Order: SVU for a 14th season, and has picked up firefighter drama Chicago Fire for a full season.
