The executive producer of Fringe has revealed that the character of Sam Weiss will return to the show.
In a recent conference call, Joel Wyman told reporters that the origins of the mysterious bowling alley owner (played by Kevin Corrigan) will soon be revealed.
"Sam is a character that... still has many... layers to reveal," he teased. "His motivations will become clearer and you'll get a better understanding.
"We're not going to keep pushing it down the role and not answering it, because that frustrates everyone. You're going to find out about him."
He added that the true nature of Weiss will be "hopefully... be something that you don't see coming".
"You don't, don't trust that Weiss," he laughed.
Fringe continues tonight at 9/8c on Fox.
