According to The Hollywood Reporter, both “Family Guy” and “Bob’s Burgers” have been given their 18th and 10th seasons, respectively. The renewals were quietly made months ago, in advance of the sale of FOX’s multi-billion dollar assets to Disney. Along with “The Simpsons,” both series are the property of 20th Century Fox Television, the studio which recently broke from the FOX broadcast network.

They now join “The Simpsons” – which was just recently renewed for two additional seasons – as the titles so far confirmed for the network’s TV roster next season.

Both shows rank among the best-rated at FOX, with “Family Guy” upholding an average of 2.65 million viewers per episode in its 17th season, and “Bob’s Burgers” faring similarly at 2.83 million viewers per episode in its 9th season.

While these are the first three shows to have been renewed at FOX thus far, they will not, however, be the sole animated series on the network’s extensive roster; comedies “Bless the Hearts” and “Duncanville” have each been ordered straight-to-series and will air in the 2019-2020 season alongside their veteran counterparts.

Both “Family Guy” and “Bob’s Burgers” air on Sunday nights.
