The CW on Monday gave the series a pickup for 2018-19, locking in an 11th veteran series for next season. The show has put up decent ratings in its brief time back on the air.

“The 100” premiered to a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49 on April 24, on par with last season’s debut. Episode 2 slipped a bit to 0.3. The first two episodes averaged 1.23 million total viewers. With three days of delayed viewing, the show is drawing a 0.65 in the 18-49 demographic and 1.89 million viewers.

With the pickup of “The 100,” The CW has only one veteran series awaiting word of its future: “iZombie,” which is averaging a 0.2 in adults 18-49 and a shade under 800,000 viewers on initial airings and 0.5/1.38 million after a week of delayed viewing. First-year shows “Valor” and “Life Sentence” are both likely to be one and done.

The CW is expanding to a sixth night of programming next season with two hours on Sundays, which represents a 20 percent increase from its current five-night, 10-hour schedule.

The past two seasons, the network has used 15 scripted series across the season to fill a Monday-to-Friday schedule; a 20 percent increase in the number of shows would be 18. The fate of “iZombie” may rest on how much The CW likes its pilots this year and whether it thinks marketing a higher number of new shows along with the extra night is the right play.
