CBS All Access has given a series order to a new take on the classic TV show from Rod Serling. Producers on the new version include Jordan Peele (“Get Out,” “Key & Peele”), Simon Kinberg (“Legion,” “Star Wars Rebels”) and Marco Ramirez (“Daredevil”).

All three will “collaborate” on the premiere episode, CBS says.

“Too many times this year it’s felt we were living in a twilight zone, and I can’t think of a better moment to reintroduce [the show] to modern audiences,” Peele says in a statement.

Serling’s “Twilight Zone” aired from 1959-64 and has lived on in syndication and holiday-weekend marathons ever since. A revival of the show in 1985 lasted four seasons (three on CBS and one in syndication). UPN had its own version of the show, with Forest Whitaker introducing each story, in 2002-03.

The series pickup for “The Twilight Zone” was a pretty quick one. News of the show being in development broke just over a month ago.

“The Twilight Zone” will join a lineup of CBS All Access originals that includes dramas “The Good Fight” and “Star Trek: Discovery” and comedy “No Activity.” The streaming service has three more original series — “$1,” “Tell Me a Story” and “Strange Angel” — on tap for future premieres.

There’s no word yet on when “The Twilight Zone” will make its debut.
