The CW has renewed its series “The 100” for a fifth season, making it the ninth show on the network to earn a spot on the schedule next season

The pickup means that every show currently airing on the network has its fate decided for next season. “The Vampire Diaries” ends Friday, and “Reign” is in its final season. Everything else — “Supergirl,” “Jane the Virgin,” “The Flash,” “Legends of Tomorrow,” “Arrow,” “Supernatural,” “Riverdale” and now “The 100” — will be back.

The CW has two shows yet to premiere this season. “The Originals” begins its fourth season March 17, and “iZombie” returns for Season 3 on April 4. Fall shows “Frequency” and “No Tomorrow” have concluded their seasons and are now streaming on Netflix; the network hasn’t made a decision on those two yet.

“The 100” has been a very steady ratings performer this season. Every episode so far this season has earned a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49 the night it airs; it draws 1.06 million viewers in its initial airing. With a week of DVR and on-demand viewing, it rises to a 0.7 and about 1.8 million viewers.
