The comedy will return for its 11th season in 2013/14, but star Angus T Jones will reportedly no longer serve as a series regular.

According to multiple reports, the Jake Harper actor may still recur on the show in a guest-starring capacity.

Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer are both confirmed to return for the next run of episodes.

Deadline claims that Kutcher will earn around the same as his current $700,000 per episode salary, with Cryer being paid only slightly less, meaning they remain the highest-paid TV actors today.

Jones caused controversy last year when he appeared in a testimonial for the Forerunner Christian Church and urged fans to stop watching the sitcom, calling it "filth".

He later apologised for his comments and insisted that he has "the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and a Half Men".

Former show star Charlie Sheen came out to defend Jones, suggesting that he is "a good kid" who was perhaps "going through a phase".
